This course will provide basic knowledge, techniques, and advance of molecular plant pathology mainly regarding interactions of plants and pathogens at the molecular level. This course also probes into ideas and strategies related to molecular plant pathology via discussion. After the course, students will acquire an understanding of the molecular basis of the interactions between microbial pathogens and the host plants and aware of cutting edge advance in this discipline.
