Molecular Plant Pathology (MPP) is dedicated to the study of the genetics, molecular aspects, and molecular mechanisms related to, responsible for, and resulting from the interactions between plants and microbes. Specific topics to be covered in this course include genetics of plant disease, molecular aspects of plant disease, how pathogens attack plants, resistance mechanism in plants, specific molecular interactions of plants and pathogens, and resistance gene engineering.
